AIRPORT SECURITY AGENT

Job Title: Airport Security Agent

Locations: Newark Liberty International Airports

Requirements:

• Current NYS Security Guard License
• Security Guard Training Certificate - 8 Hour Pre-Assignment Training & 16 Hour OJT
• No Criminal Convictions
• 10 Years Verifiable Work History that shall include references and proof of employment (acceptable proof of employment are pay stubs, w2 forms, letter from employer, Detailed Employment Query from Social Security office)
• Ability to meet the requirements for SORA training, licensing and registration.
• Must posses a valid Social Security Number (Original Social Security Card)
• Must be a United States citizen or alien legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must posses a high school diploma issued in the United States of America or a general equivalency diploma obtained in the United States of America.
• Must posses a valid driver's license or State Identification.
• Demonstrate the ability to write, read and speak English which may include the satisfactory completion of the standard Test of English as a Foreign Language or its equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in any one of the following:
• A guard, watchman or police position
• Service in the United States Military Service or in military security position  (need original DD214)
• Attendance at an accredited institution of higher learning with a minimum of 32 credits per year in the areas of criminal justice, or police science
• Must pass a physical exam.
• Must pass 10 panel drug test screen.
• Completion of the required pre-assignment training courses.
